Technopolitan was founded in 2015 operating as a technology-to-business incubator in a strategic cooperation with Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). Technopolitan is managing Demola-Budapest, founding member of Demola Network, a rapidly growing international open innovation platform (20+ locations).
Technopolitan provides an inspiring atmosphere of co-creation opportunities for students and professionals of different universities and enterprises. In Demola-Budapest multi-disciplinary student-teams develop product/service concepts together with companies creating new solutions to real-life problems. Demola-Budapest also participates in the creation of startup companies in the CEE region.

Technopolitan has signed a framework agreement with BME in order to support its technology transfer activity. "The strategic aim of this framework agreement is to ensure a long-term, predictable and systematic cooperation between the Parties in order to fulfill successful activities" - like DEMOLA-Budapest.
