Technopolitan CEO helps Digital Factory to select H2020 FIWARE teams

 

Startups interested in testing and developing their applications using Future  Internet technologies can apply for the FIWARE grant financed by the European Commission. CEO of Technopolitan, Mr. Korányi is member of the jury to select the most promising teams for the 3 months long incubation program at DF.

 

About the Program

  • 3 months long Business Incubation program starting in Jan 2016.

  • 30k EUR guaranteed initial financing, 50-250k EUR follow-up opportunity.

  • Mentoring by international, experienced mentors with entrepreneurial background.

  • 1-3 month long follow-up period after incubation.

 

The full business incubation program is a great opportunity for companies developing a software/mobile application for global markets. Each team accepted to the incubator will receive an initial seed financing of €30,000. In addition, promising companies with highest potential business ideas, who have proved the viability and market potential of their product idea, as well as capabilities of the project team, will receive follow-up funding of €50,000 – 250,000 after the program.

 

Digital Factory carefully designs its incubation processes around the specific needs of the participants, while employing best practices established by larger, world-leading technology incubators/accelerators. The incubation process is broken down into 4 phases (Shape – Build – Sell – Follow Up). The first 3 phases take place in-house, at DF accelerator, for 3 months.

 

DF incubator is backed by private investors and the European Commission, which enables DF to offer unique access to financing, mentorship and FIWARE technologies. It is an eligibility criteria to use one of the open source generic enablers developed by FIWARE partners.
