The application period for the spring 2016 projects was closed at the beginning of March. After finding talents for all 10 new projects the work has started. Mid April the teams will present possible directions, solutions and validate their ideas at the first Demo day.

As an initiation of the Ministry of Human Capacities, with Technopolitan as a co-organizer, a conference was held on University and Business Cooperation in Central Europe at BME between 28-29 January 2016.

On 22 January 2016 the final pitching event of the Demola Autumn 2015 projects took place. Out of 8 started-off projects the following 5 got to the final: Canon innovative slide-show, Let's non-skid together!, Digital Games, Fisch and Hello Fish!.

The MIT Venture Mentoring Service a famous initiative of one of the top technical universities of the world, is being adopted by BME. 

For the implementation of this know-how Technopolitan was selected in a public procuerement procedure. The project was funded from an EU structural fund (TÁMOP) through a consortium of BME, BME-Viking and Balatonfüred RIK.

Startups interested in testing and developing their applications using Future  Internet technologies can apply for the FIWARE grant financed by the European Commission. CEO of Technopolitan, Mr. Korányi is member of the jury to select the most promising teams for the 3 months long incubation program at DF.

Technopolitan was the home partner of the Hungarian Embassy in Paris to select and mentor the five Hungarian startups that were given a free ticket to participate and present on the 2015 fall Paris Founders event. The five participating Hungarian startups: FORMA eyewear, Velotrack, OzonExtrade, Rabbit, Velotrack, 5Litres.

60 European and Far-Eastern startup companies will introduce themselves in mid-October at TechMatch. The competition and related trainings, conference and expo are organized for the very first time in Europe.
